In House Training
TheRescue Hose and Ladder Company Fire Department is a small, fully volunteer company. The fire department handles approximately 300 calls year. They have two engine tankers (ET 8-1, ET 8-2), two rescue trucks (R8-1, R8-2), two boats (BO8-1, BO8-2), and a brush truck (B8). The coverage area includes Curwensville Borough and Pike Township. Located at 408-410 Filbert Street, Curwensville, the fire company shares the lower part of the building with the ambulance. Inside of the station is a newly renovated lounge which is equipped with a small kitchen area, and a 0ffice for EMS workers and members that are students who need a place to study. Rescue Hose and Ladder Company is a wonderful place to make life long friends and help your community.
